Welcome to your new digital issue of Boughton’s. Although we’ve been keeping in touch via leaf and the website during lockdown we are so happy to finally share this with you.

With businesses now starting to re-open we felt now the time was right to bring the Boughton’s cafe community back together – and what better way than by sharing people’s tips and advice about how they are easing themselves into the ‘new normal’?

As ever the cafe community is happy to share their ideas for the benefit of the whole industry. We’ve got business experts, independent coffee shop owners and suppliers to talk us through their experiences – and what they are doing to get back up and running.

We hope you enjoy your issue of Boughton’s in this format – it still has the usual mix of inspiration, innovation and positivity – but obviously we are aware that many of you are in a very different place than when this issue was planned six months ago. We know that it will still give you plenty of food for thought – including ideas for diversifying your business to change up your model. This ability to shift and change will be key to survival over the coming months.
