  • Chocolate remains the favourite dessert flavour for consumers, preferred by 45%. This provides a key opportunity for operators to boost their dessert sales.
  • 52% of consumers purchase their desserts from cafes and coffee shops
  • 45% of 18-34 year olds, 56% of 35-54 year olds and 55% of 55+ year olds indicate that they frequent cafes to purchase a dessert, cake or pastry.
